In 1999, a new insurance regulation was put in place by the Djiboutian government to encourage the creation of companies under Djiboutian law. GXA assurances was thus created and obtained its final approval on 21 July 2001.
At its inception, the Company already had a proven track record as it was based on the portfolio of Assurances Générales de France which was present in Djibouti from 1945 to 2001.
The company has remained faithful to these achievements and is managed by one of the main shareholders, who is also its president, and has kept the company's staff, trained according to the international standards of the profession.
